Yes, Bhurtun Chambers accepts pupils. Our Head of Chambers, Me. Ahmed Bhurtun, is an accredited Pupil Master under Section 5A of the Law Practitioners Act 1984 (LPA) and has 18 years of standing at the Mauritian Bar.
Pupillage opportunities are available for 3, 6, or 9 months. As an experienced Barrister, professional trainer, and passionate mentor, Me. Bhurtun will ensure you receive personal guidance, hands-on client interactions, research training, case preparation experience, advocacy practice, and familiarisation with the Code of Ethics for Barristers.
If you meet the criteria under Section 4 of the LPA and wish to apply, please submit your application along with scanned copies of your relevant qualifications and Curriculum Vitae (CV).
